what iso image should i download? if i go to their website and try to download a cd image i get this huge list with iso files, the same with the dvd iso. there is like 50 cd images and like 8 dvd's... which one should i download?
@martmelee you should find cd1 for your machines architecture first which will be 386 or 686, or try the net install if you have a good net connection
i really think linux should be tested on even slower systems while a core 2 quad is old tech it is still is a good cpu linux has always been for me atleast about not needing a fast system but still getting great performance i believe linux is starting to imitate windows too much atlease the more popular distros like ubuntu
Debian truly is fantastic! Ubuntu gets all the glory but Debian doesn't need it. It can stay in the shadows of Ubuntu and just stay rock solid and that's fine with me :) I don't use KDE though. I use XFCE and LXDE and Fluxbox and it really is fast and stable. Bye bye Ubuntu. I've had enough of you.

This isn't directly relevant to this video, but is there a program like lxlauncher but for xfce?

Hi Sneekylinux
Can you tell us how to install the multimedia codecs into Debian 6.0?
Thanks again for the reviews. They help us a lot.

@mibi1946
I used the Exoodles script.
Just download the script and run it, it will give you a menu then select what you want to install.
