@4dmiralAwesome I could say the same thing to those who think all music today is really "music". I obviously think that there are still talented bands out there, or I wouldn't have said "but there are always those few exceptions that still shine through." It's just that those truly great bands are a lot harder to come across now. Don't take one section of what I said out of context.
@wearethearchers Just because certain music isn't enjoyable to some, it doesn't necessarily mean that the artists who created it don't have talent. Honestly, I don't even like Sherwood. At all. I just saw the acoustic version of this song on my iTunes and wanted to hear what the original sounded like. I'm into math rock, progressive, and post-hardcore and I don't listen to pop rock ever, but that doesn't mean I think that it isn't music.
See what I mean now? No disrespect intended by the way.
@4dmiralAwesome I understand completely, I love progressive music, metal, all kinds of music that could be considered the complete opposite of this, but I enjoy this too. Just because some bands have talent doesn't necessarily mean they make music. Honestly my favorite style of music to listen to is 80s hair metal, but I don't consider most of those bands to be true musical artists.

Sherwood is truly one of the best bands of our generation. Music is dead now, but there are always those few exceptions that still shine through.
