I think you are loading the arm which goes over the revolving deck,on the wrong side-the turtable direction should go away from the needle,to make wear on the vinyl minimal!

seeing your video reminds me of those long,far off days(when I was a nipper),when,by placing the 78 vinyls in hot water,they could be moulded into an ashtray/flowerpot that could be surrepticiously presented to your neighbour( bunged over the fence,when they weren`t looking!?)

I dread to think just how many lovely recordings were lost in this way!!

Also,I would like to query the direction of the turntable-mine used to go away from needle yours appears to be the other way!

about the headphones, they work a treat. I go

some other ones a while ago on ebay and they

felt apart when I opened the packet. At least with the balloons you can always make a new one when the old one pops!
