Compared with the camaros and trans ams the 04 mustang gt was a little low on power. I almost have no idea how it drove the camaro and trans am out of business.

Everyone who complains about the 4.6 2v being slow STFU.. did you personally build your LS motor, or a 4.6 ford... Prob not. A bunch of engineers designed them and put them into production. How are you running 9 pounds of intercooled boost and only making 320rwhp? is the rest of the car completely stock?

Yes it is. It was also dynoed on a Mustang dyno, not a dynojet. Very different numbers between the two. The car made 230 before the blower so it was a gain of about 90hp which is about what is advertised.

Actually, my buddy works on Mustangs on the side for years. He only charged me about $500. Just helping a friend. The whole thing ran somewhere between 5,200 to 5,600. I can't remember.

Your right country. But it was a nearly brand new car with about 16k on it. And, i wanted the blower. The car is able to be daily driven, its turnkey. I can drive it to get bread at the store with the A/C at full blast and hand someone there ass on my way home. I was more going for the poormans terminator. And it worked out ok. My buds 12.2 or 30s in his 03 to my 12.50s and 60s.

ive noticed that the 2.3 or is it 2.4L kenne bell for 99-04 stangs is quieter than the 1.7 also..but yeah the 05- stang kenne bells are quiet but not silent, they do make a little noise, but nothing like this, you can barely hear the new ones. Atleast the setups ive seen on new stangs.

Yeah it's just fine with the right tune. To say how it affects longevity is yet to be known. I'd suggest sticking with the 9# it came with from KB. I might go back myself. The gains were minimal without real modifications (Heads,Cams,Torque Converter, etc.). Just not in the budget right now.

Yeah. I stepped up to 3.73s from the 3.27s. Made a small difference. Didn't want 4.10s Auto+Highway did mix to well. Still working on the tune.

Actually, you won't see much of a difference between your 3.73s and 4.10s efficiency-wise on the highway. Your engine doesn't have to work as hard to keep the car moving, so the result is neutral. However, it will kick you in the ass when you step on it hahaha.

have you done any mods to your trans? if not i would do a "jerrys mod" on it. visit the tccoa web site and look at trans article. i did this to my auto and it really woke up my auto trans!
