  • can i has? ;)

  • since you're not selling the kit do you mind sharing some information ?? are there any engine mods in order to put the turbo in ? What type of turbo is it ? How do you re route the oil from the turbo back to the engine ? How much PSi / bar of boost are you running ?

  • NVM.. I think I have an Idea? guessing since you gained about 55HP you're prolly using a garett GT1241 turbo It's the smallest one I can think of ? I think you got the oil lines for the bearing from the oil cooler on the left side and returned it straight from the turbo back to the rear oil frame?now the only thing I can't figure out is why did you put it on the left side? I would think the right side would be best cause that's where the exhaust meets? The intake filter would be facing front!!

  • @QuietStormSiR @QuietStormSiR we put a new oil pump under the engine because the original oil pressure is not enough . on line from the new oil pump to the turbo ( switzer turbo, not garett) and one line from the turbo oil output to another smaller oil pump ( another smaller oil pump because the turbo is a litle bit under the motorcycle oil level.)

  • More info? Are you selling a kit or anything?

  • The critcs here seem to be missing the point. The object of the exercise here is to see how well you can make a BUELL perform. If jap 600s go so well its a tribute to their design, but their owners would rather fit a race system and power commander than buy a thou. Owners even turbo Busa's. And dont forget the Buell uses a steam engine so its performance is not bad considering..I love the feel and sound of my Buells and have fun pimping them up, If i had a Busa i'd probably tune that as well.

  • sweet bike

  • top speed?

  • @DecaPierce they prolly didnt change gearing ratios so its the same ol 145+mph even if they did the usual max is barely 160- if it got converted to a chain they could make it have even a higher top speed....

  • @Ryknfjor You right

  • @DecaPierce We have the original buell xb12 top speed, but we have it very fastly

all the difficulty is try to keep the front wheel on the ground.

with an apropriate chain sprocket conversion kit I think we can go up than 250kmh.

the power betwen 4000 and the cut off is absolutly insane.

  • top speed?

  • i think I just came a little

  • Turbo XB, o Hell yes!!

  • 132hp? so its running with 600cc jap bikes? so what? talk about a waste of time and money!

  • uh... 600cc japs are only putting 105-8ish to the ground. this bike could crush ANY stock jap bike off the line- hayabusas and zx14s included. my friend has a 'weak' 07 xb9r and raced an 08 gsxr 600 and the gsxr was barely hangin on. both are experienced riders

  • maby you didnt notice the 111lbs of torque u tard. jap 600s have about 50. this thing would accelerate like crazy.

  • the motor is completely unreliable. the chassis is too short to use the power and youre comparing this to a bike with half the displacement and no turbo. HOW IS THIS BIKE BETTER IN ANY WAY? sounds like the only turd here besides the bike is you!

  • @johnpaps Go hate somwhere else. What are you even doing here besides trying to prove what a major hater you are?

  • @aivilik wheres the hating? facts are facts. guys like you are just youtube racers. never been to the dragstrip, never owned anything! just type away and pretend you know what youre talkin about.

  • stop talking, your incompetence is making me nausceous. the classic 1200cc harley v twin does NOT need anything other than oil and gas. unlike jap bikes that need constant attention due to the high rpms they must operate at to have any power at all.

  • @bnalm the harley v-twin needs more oil than gas, thats the problem. my turbo suzuki puts out more than twice the horsepower it came with from the factory and needed only heavy duty clutch springs. that was over 20k miles ago. compare that to harley turbo bikes that die on the dyno before ever even seeing the actual road!!

  • @johnpaps Dude the sportster 1200 engine is real rock solid i own a XB12s myself. My friends XB9r has +45000 MILES on it and he absolutely thrashes it. And to correct your "too short wheelbase cuz of power" problem all you need is taller gears or extend out the wheelbase. However Showyomoto did not tune this Xb12s properly cuz it should easily get a 150+ Hp for tuboing it.

  • It is not easy to gt more than 150hp just because it is turboed. I have 161hp @12psi and I have tuned and developed 4 years to get to where I am with my setup.

  • @ezracing900 Just curious, which turbo did you use and was it a different turbo when u finished? is it intercooled?

  • @Ryknfjor

    this is a switzer turbo.

this is the same turbo, we just paint it

    no intercooler.

  • @ezracing900

I know what you mean buddy, personnally, 2 years and 3 engines to get the good set up and reliability

  • sounds very v8ish... def in my fav's now! awsome vid

  • Thanks buddy, one of my favorit ride, love the sound too.....

  • where did you get the stuff for that turbo

  • This is a custom mods , we by all the parts one by one..

  • home made..

  • Cool rig. I have a turbo buell on youtube also just type in turbo buell. I used mine to set a land speed record at Bonneville this year. How much boost are you running? You have what looks like a low hp #. I am running a 889 or a 883 10 over stock crappy heads ( stock 883 42hp) and 15 psi w/intercooler=112hp I will be converting mine back to a 1200 and should be around 155 to 160 hp.

  • We run at 7 psi , you can boost to have 155/160 hp , but you need to install flat forged pistons ,new crank , new clutch etc...

  • If you run more than 140hp you need to install a lock up clutch and forged flat piston..

We try at 10 psi , we loose the clutch in 3 minutes, and the engine broke ( piston)

  • i'd buy a kit , was thinking of making one for my m2

  • 132hp first run, after dobeck air fuel adjustment, 129hp. 106lbs

for normal road use, we reduce the power to 110 hp to preserve clutch and transmission..

    this buell is a slingshot....

  • how much would it be for a kit like that and/or how would i make one for my 03 xb9r? please let me know

  • need to produce an affordable kit, i dont see it happening though since you could buy the bikes alone for about 5k now and you can make just as much power all motor

  • hmmm dont think so

  • dont get me wrong its pretty sick but look at the stage 3 heads and internals i forget the name of the company ill try and find it again but they sell a whole stage 3 package that puts it just above 120 hp if i remember correctly it was rediculous heads and nasty domes then switched to a mikuni..oligixx have yall concidered some head work in combination with the turbo kit

  • Johnson Engine Technologies out of maryland, they do the insane engine buildup cost about 3500 i think. Beat a Ducati 998 in an official race.
