In Molten Core are there any Core Hounds lower than level 62 that are tameable? cause my guild done the raid when i was 61 and if i freeze trap the core hound whilst taming will i prob survive? i have about 5k health (with all the buffs 7k)

you need to get exalted with Netherwing, they have a base in shadowmoon valley, you will need a flying mount to get there.

Ah sweet thank you. Ive seen some hunters with monster huge pets. Not even rhinos or something, just cats. Like a huge Savannah Matriarch. It was like 3-4 times my cat and me.

Do you also know whether I can teach my pets moves from other pets. Ive seen it done. But I heard somewhere that they took that out.

well your pet gets a talent point every 4 levels (used to be every 2 levels) and there are a few spells in the pet talent tree. the different the pet the different the talents are, for example cats are ferocity(damage) snakes are cunning(pvp and control) and bears are tenacity(tanking)

however each pet has a special move like a spider has web, you cant teach a different pet a different special move for example cats cannot learn web

It does a little. But in one of his guide vids. He had a Boar. Which did not have the move "Bite". He went and trained a Spider that had Bite. Then bite was taught to him and then he was able to teach bite to his Boar. I wanna know if we can still do this. Of course I know that certain moves like a spiders webs cant be taught to anything else. But regular stuff.

I got my beastmastery last night.. first thing i did was went after a corehound and a silithid as pets.

core hound lava breath is now only 25% slow down to casting by the way.. duration 10 seconds but recast is only 7 seconds.. so thats -25% 100% of the time!! yeah baby!!

frost is in the dranie(sp?) place i think, fire is in MC, and the acid one is in SMV look for the spawn of uvuros (the regular one is really hard to tame if you dont have a healer)

Corehounds have less power, but hit alot faster. Also theyre funner to look at, breathe fire that slows casting speed, and looks more like a pet since it has the spike collar. SO HA!

the best pet is the scorpid if he keeps poisons up he can do massive damage.. second is cats for rake and other damage spells ... devilsaur is good but mainly for soloing and won't get you much dps + in a raid thats just my 2cents for you

cuzz the devilsaur has an ability that increases its damage by a certain amount and it can stack up to 3 times so if u keep stacking then ur devilsaur will basically do over 500+ damgae without a crit in bestial wrath

Cunning pets have nice medium stats -- their health, armor and damage are all neither high nor low

Ferocity pets have low armor but high damage

Tenacity pets have high health but low damage, plus a lot of defensive talents aimed at keeping themselves and their hunters alive.

I love my core hound so far. I tamed the kurken. although the screen shaking thing gets annoying sometimes, i still like him. hes very loud when he attacks. the only problem im having with him now is that when i have both lava breath and dash on at the same time. he will run, pause, run, pause until he gets within range to use the lave breath but atleast the good thing is that lava breath attacks two enemies at once.

No, it's an equal amount of damage. "Tame Exotic Pets" talent gives all pets 4 extra talent points, but exotic pets have abilities that are typically superior to their normal counterparts...but really not as much as you might think. Still look awesome though!
