  • doesn't sound that grat :/

  • im getting tht for my kit, all of my cymbals r b8

  • may seem like a stupid question but whats the stand called that your splash is on, Thanks (:

  • could you put this on a boom stand instead of hanging?

  • @overcomewithplagues Yeah you could, but I wanted to look cool for this video. Haha. I place my splashes normally now.

  • @overcomewithplagues dont waist money on a stand if you haven't already, buy a clamp

  • @usmellots whats a clamp? :P

  • These are not very good...I have a Paiste PST 5 10" splash...They are waaayy better...and way cheaper.

  • which should i get? Sabian b8 (10") pro or Sabian b8 (10")? Its only $10 more for the pro... Which is metal-er

  • @MacyHasAPearl

B8 and B8pro are the same except B8pro is in a brilliant finish, so go for the cheaper one.

  • I've always wanted to hang one of my cymbals like that. But I can't because I have a clamp on the stand pointing up with a 12" china so that'd get in the way if I raised the stand's arm up.

  • I hve this splash. Its really great for a cheap price.

  • actually the animosity drummer uses one of these so its not bad it all i mean.. the splashes are better when they are more cheap because the expensive ones really donyt sound much:s

  • i have it and its not that great..

  • That's why I traded it in for a Saluda splash.

  • The most important thing in a splash is strong attack, and it looks like this one is MADE of attack. Strongly influences my choice of first splash.

  • whoa nice im geting the sabian b8 set and it comes with it also wat kind of cymbal hardware are you using for the splash? its hanging lol i rly want that stand 5/5

  • boom stand nothing special

  • I am a huge sabian fan, all my cymbals (except my china and one other splash) are Sabian, I have this cymbal, was never a huge fan of the sound (I only got it `cause it was cheap and on sale)...it broke today, less than a year after I bought it. The funny thing is, I`m not at all a heavy hitter.

  • That's what we call wear and tear!

If you're looking to get another splash that isn't Sabian, go with Saluda Cymbals. You can get a nicer shimmering sound for the price of this splash.

  • This is a good video, My 10 inch B8 splash sounds just like this.

  • Thanks!!

  • I hate my B8s. I'm trading them in for Saludas. I actually already traded in this very splash for a Mini-China.

I made this video while I still had it, and hockeykid125 wanted a demo of it.

Thanks for making the assumption that I loved them.

  • no worries, just sayin, u cant polish a shit.

    and saluda.... why?

  • They're cheap, and sound just as good as Zildjian A Customs. Well to me at least. And the head of Saluda can customize cymbals to my own liking. Kind of like how Neil Peart helped create the Sabian Paragons.

    You should check them out.

  • i have and have not heard good things about them. theyre sposed to sound cheap and nasty. and sounding better than a customs is bull sh*t. ud probably be better just gettin sum higer end sabians or zildjians. i think saludas a risky.

  • Well that's just you. I prefer Saluda over any of those major cymbal companies.

Though I wanna try some Paiste Colorsounds one day. And yeah I know they're just B8s covered in paint.

  • yes they are, however i hear the paiste giant beats are sposed to be one best sounding cymabals out ther. then again ive always been into sabian.

  • dude! were not all rich!

  • neither am i, i use a b8 china and crash, but i can still admit they sound like shit.

  • Thanks a million! :)

  • Anytime.
