Superhero Spotlight : Wonder Woman

Wonder woman not liking man seemed more Amazon like to me. The amazons are a Greek myth and they didn't trust man because they were treated badly by them. In Greece, women were called a beautiful evil and it was women fought that the world was so horrible. Amazons killed warriors just like any other army and fought in wars against men. Amazons in the myth were warriors that hated men so I expect for Diana to hate men too at first.

i dont like the dark side of her because its anger which means people and things are getting to her which is a weakness. But i hope she does go back to her old state.

Never a big Wonder Woman fan, to be honest. Read some issues as a kid, if I happened on them in a trade for stuff I already read. Last time I read her series was the first time George Perez was doing the book.

I understand her popularity and think she works good in the JLA. Totally expect there will be a live-action WW film one of these days.

5:00 to me she did the right thing. if you look at the GOLDEN AGE comics, Superman has killed, Batman orignally had a gun and killed a criminal. some old school comic writers have made superheroes kill.

I thought the animated movie was dead on to what Diana would be like. She can be a strong woman and still be compassionate to others, which she is. The Amazons had terrible things done to them so they are kind of leary of men, but they do not hate them. She is the ultimate role model for little girls but they are more interested in Barbie, as was I when I was younger. As for hating men, her 2 best friends are men (Superman and Batman). Thanks for posting about this great icon!!

i was a tomboy during that time and i was into Jem (opposite of barbie) she and wonder woman were my icons. and no Diana isn't a lesbian shoot she had a crush on superman one time.

Wonder Woman is the ultimate role model for women. A lot of people do not take her seriously, but in my opinion she is one of the great superheros out there. In the comic world she is the greatest female icon. Diana had no choice but to kill Maxwell Lord, becaue he had Superman under mind control and she knew that he would have used him to destroy the world. She is an Amazon, therefore she is a warrior and she does what she has to do to save lives. MEGAN FOX IS NO WONDER WOMAN. MEGAN GALE

i so agree with everything you said, she is still a great role model to young girls and women to this day. and i agree with her killing Max Lord even the Martian Manhunter couldn't break free of that mind control and he's the strongest telepath.

Great episode! I never read much of Wonder Woman, though I have seen the show here and there. I can't really see Megan Fox as Diana. To me, the perfect actor is Lucy Lawless. If they have to cast Megan as a character, perhaps as an amazon nemesis to Diana? They could play off the whole age factor - young newb thinks she's better than Wonder Woman.

I don't like Megan Fox period, much less as Wonder Woman. Lucy Lawless would be a good idea, but I'm sure there is someone out there who hasn't been discovered yet who could be a great Wonder Woman.

Munn has to be considered for WW, in my humble opinion she is the right person. That role could finally put her on the map where she needs to be. :)
