@Aleyt07 well what do you consider downhill? You can cruiser down any hill with this board. If you're talking about smashing down big hills, there are more stable boards out there.
I'm looking for a board to ride to class and wondering which would be better, the Arbor Koa Pin or Sector 9 Pathfinder? I'm moving to Buenos Aires for school so it's for city cruising, no bombing hills, just cruising around from place to place. I love to carve too but don't want to carry a lot of weight since I'll be riding the subway and walking to class, so which would be best? :)
@mikebiker69 the fiberglass allows the board to flex to the ground. I used to have one and would jump straight up and land in the middle and it wouldn't break. While it never broke for me, I woulnd't suggest you trying that just in case yours snaps... -Benson
@MetalLongboard96 that's normal. I had this board and could jump in the middle, flex it to the ground, and it would just spring back to position. -Benson
hey guys am considering this board and the sand wedge sidewinder... i d like to have a kicktail ,that sand wedge doesnt have, but im kinda afraid that the pathfinder would get way too wobbly in higher speed...could anyone give me some advice which one is better? also how would the firmness and thickness affect the ride...or on the other hand the flexibilty...
@RawenXXL If you want to bomb hills this is definitley not the board, kicktails are meant mostly for manual and if you place your foot there while bombing you might put too much weight on and do a manual while bombing...not good, i have a landyachtz evo and its great for bombing, try looking at landyachtz or rayne boards, those are the best for downhill

Alright so I'm looking into buying a longboard but I'm completely stuck on what to pick out, summers coming up and I plan on riding it every where for miles, not exactly bombing hills, but road upon road, with some hills every once in a while, help me pick out a perfect type of board setup for less then 200!
@0bs3s I would look into the never summer completes. they are a really good shape for speed, they are also stiffer so the deck doesnt absorb all the energy of your push and it holds its speed better. But they are around 219 so just above your price range but worth looking into.
How to you stop on this? Is it possible to slide?

what is the weight limit on a board like this? when do you think it would break?

@mikebiker69 I own one and i have had it for a couple years it is very flexible but it wouldn't break. It is standard sector 9 quality.

I feel like the board is going to break whenever i stand in the middle. like, when i flex..Is that ok or..?

It gets really, really wobbly on steep hills. You have to tighten the pivot really hard to keep it sturdy. Otherwise, its a great board.
