Being an apple fanboy makes it very obvious one isnt really very smart and that you need "electronics for dummies". Nothing wrong with being an apple User/Customer though. The disadvantage of Ipads etc are closed source systems and big brother chooses what apps youre allowed. The Advantage is reliability. The software/hardware you buy is going to work. The advantage of windows/linux/android is if it can be programmed/designed or built you can use it on your system and hack your system .
I think both ipad and samsung tablet are great anyway! Well, now I think that the samsung galaxy tablet is definitely more advantageous and so better 'caus of the reasons we all know (better quality for movies, more and better functions, phone in it, can read flash of any website, cam with flash and so..), but I guess apple can catch it up anyway, in making an even better product that will give us all the advantages we're looking for! So apple, you know what you have to do!..
i am using a iphone and i use a mac to work but I hope Android will have more apps developed so that i can have the choice to switch over. I find ipad is too big on the move and this is just the correct size. And ofcos with flash onboard it is then "THE INTERNET" in your hands.

I have the IPAD now but only the 1st 2weeks I was so excited but I had the chance to see & use the GALAXY TAB & its a very solid Tablet ( advance hardware than ipad, then the quality is SO GREAT, you can root & do everything in it soon by help of XDA & lots of android guys)

Apple big mistake no front or rear facing camera. If I had an ipad and then a few months later a tab comes out with a front and rear facing camera i would be very ticked at apple. Apple you don't care about any bodys pocket book but yours. O ya 2nd generation of the ipad less than a year later will come with a front and rear facing camera but it will not support FLASH or be as fast. Apple number 1 ya right for now. LOL

How many "pads" or "tabs" do actually exist in real world? to me, "pads" are as a Hologram.. I know everything about it, seen it on TV and on internet. - even know how to use it. But never seen it in real world.
Im sorry but this just looks like a smaller version of the ipad. Yes, I admit I think that Apple make the best gadgets around at the moment; the iphone / ipod touch / mac range can't be touched by anything else quite frankly. BUT the ipad is rather pointless, why not get an iphone 4 or the new ipod touch? Both of these have far greater functionality. Just realized u can use ur thumbs to type unlike the ipad. With the ipad you need that stupid keyboard which makes it a desktop but it only has the capabilities of a ipod touch.
This owns the iPad. 1st it's asian, second its portable, and its size is more like a tablet. Unlike the ipad which is the same size as a netbook and costs the same with 1/10000 the capabilities. But I like the new iPod touch 4g.

@minipcpro the black glass frame, the home menu, the gestures, the aluminum back, the animations, the keyboard and its color scheme, the notepad app, the browser layout with its progress bar and even the same sound effect when hitting the numpad. You gotta admit that there's some similarities with the iPad. Nonetheless, it's a cool product.
Meh. That's fine for 4 inches, but on a 7 incher it just seems a little on the low side to me... I mean, this is basically a stretched out Galaxy S, then. With an inferior camera and a regular LCD screen. I guess it's cheaper than the iPad, at least..
@MelvinSF Galaxy tab has a native resolution of 1024x600 at 7inch screen. almost the same resolution than the iPad at a smaller screen. this means it has better pixel density(crisp image and videos). 3mp camera is much better than no camera at all like the iPad. Hdmi, xpandable memory card slot, blutooth, phone capabillity, back and front camera. these are the features that iPad doesn't have. this absolutely an iPad killer.

Im sorry but this just looks like a smaller version of the ipad. Yes, I admit I think that Apple make the best gadgets around at the moment; the iphone / ipod touch / mac range can't be touched by anything else quite frankly. BUT the ipad is rather pointless, why not get an iphone 4 or the new ipod touch? Both of these have far greater functionality. Anyway I really wish though that companies would stop trying to emulate Apple's design and think of something original for a change.

I think Galaxy tab is far more creative and revolutionary than bloody shitty useless Ipad. just see the functional deferrences, if you have eyes and ears..... potability and mobile life style focused Galaxy tab is really fantastic stuff which has dual Ipad + I phone functions with potable size. whats the point to have a ridiculous big size of ipad unless you can carry outside hahhahhaha

@Kaoru0313: In what way haven't they - The black outer rim around the screen, the four touch icons at the bottom of the screen, the metal body casing, the fact that there actually making a touch screen tablet (yes I am aware that the ipad wasn't the first). Oh and Samsung really haven't copied the old iphone's design in the slightest bit either........ Btw I think your missing my point. The ipad is pointless - you would be stupid to buy one (or this Samsung) when there's the iphone/ ipod touch.

@10R8 well I don't agree with you mate! what things you can do having Iphone and I pod touch? why you have to waste time,money,space and physical hardness carrying two things with you?? the quality is different mate! I used lots of Japanese products,Iphone3g,Imac laptop but things chage! now I like this multitasking ultimate gadget which is light and right size to carry. I will use handfree bluetooth earphone to make phone call while I do other things on Galaxy tab, I think its fantastic device

Hmmm if i had to buy an ipad or samsung Galaxy ...i would buy Galaxy coze it has camera in it also the phone....and video quality is alot better.Now using Skype is alot easier i'm tired of holding my laptop while chatting on skype....

Just realized u can use ur thumbs to type unlike the ipad. With the ipad you need that stupid keyboard which makes it a desktop but it only has the capabilities of a ipod touch.

This owns the iPad. 1st it's asian, second its portable, and its size is more like a tablet. Unlike the ipad which is the same size as a netbook and costs the same with 1/10000 the capabilities. But I like the new iPod touch 4g.

I use a motorola bluetooth earpiece all the time, and no one questions me about it.

@minipcpro the black glass frame, the home menu, the gestures, the aluminum back, the animations, the keyboard and its color scheme, the notepad app, the browser layout with its progress bar and even the same sound effect when hitting the numpad. You gotta admit that there's some similarities with the iPad. Nonetheless, it's a cool product.

Meh. That's fine for 4 inches, but on a 7 incher it just seems a little on the low side to me... I mean, this is basically a stretched out Galaxy S, then. With an inferior camera and a regular LCD screen. I guess it's cheaper than the iPad, at least..

@MelvinSF Galaxy tab has a native resolution of 1024x600 at 7inch screen. almost the same resolution than the iPad at a smaller screen. this means it has better pixel density(crisp image and videos). 3mp camera is much better than no camera at all like the iPad. Hdmi, xpandable memory card slot, blutooth, phone capabillity, back and front camera. these are the features that iPad doesn't have. this absolutely an iPad killer.

@fixingbraincell i dont think so. Galaxy tab is waaaayy better than ur iPad. features of galaxy tab that iPad doesn't have are hdmi, xpandable memory card slot, phone capability, dual camera, can play 1080p(iPad 720p only). iPad looks cheap with this awesome gadget.
