Excellent tutorial techwizzy, if I had a metal lathe I'd love to turn the piston out of billet material. Not a big deal but a tripod would mitigate the camera shakes and really polish off your videos, maybe get your buddy to lend a hand running the cam. Again, excellent.
Nice tutorial Gun Freak/techwizzy. Did you make this when you were constructing Superna or did you make a separate valve afterwards?
One slight niggle, I would really opt for two 2x1.5" bushings (with a modified one for the 1.5" pipe to pass through) at the front of the valve instead of using the 2" SCH-80. But no matter, depending on how you modify the bushing the tolerances could be about the same!
@markfh11q Thanks Mark. I'm gonna have to agree with you on that suggestions, because my seat ended up being a little crooked (don't tell jsefcik, I sold him this valve lol). So no this valve is not Superna's. In fact, Superna's valve went to Mattyzip77... it broke with him, lol... so now I need to make myself a new piston valve! :)
great how to, but quick question, why didnt you use a 2 inch to 1 inch threaded bushing in the back of the tee where you service the piston? Like on mine? Wouldnt this cut down pilot volume????
Nice tutorial, it gave me a great idea for the bumper, and also is the simplest design I found on youtube, I'm going to built one for my physics project the next year, so I can increase the range and power of my cannon.

@EvilWilly5280 thank you. I'd love to have a lathe too :D I'd also love a million dollars :P there are spots in the video where I was using a tripod.
