yeah, the 17 inch is a lil bit to big and expanisve but still really nice..

i like the 15inch one cuz its a lil more portable. but if u can afford the 17 inch go for it

i must say apples laptops sucks... it gets hot its slow and i can always here the fans, the imac is another story though

actually thats not true at all. they new aluminum stays cool as long as its on a flat surface...can get warm over a long period of time on the lap. however, apple laptops are the best laptops around. The best desktops are usually ones that are custom built..theyre also usually cheaper.....however you cannot get laptops custom built, which is why apple laptops are by far the best ones. theyre fast, dependable, and good lookin'.

ya but i would want a desk top computer instead, mainly because if im going to spend about $1100-$1500 on a mac computer i would want it to be pretty big like the i mac 24" i love my mac :)

true..i love the 24" iMacs, theyre the nicest desktop computers that i have ever seen, not to mention the size of the display. However, I bought a laptop for collage next year and also so i can carry my computer with me around the house. However, im looking into buying a imac sometime next year too. Who knows what apple will be adding to the new ones in the future

i have an HP its not worth the money

it heats up really fast

you cant put it on ur lap without it burning you

yeah thats how my old white macbook was too

but this one is not nearly as bad..however it can pretty warm over an extended year of time. Apple actually claims is a notebook not a "laptop". So its recommended you keep it on a flat surface..but u can keep it on ur lap just not for too long where its going to stop all air circulation under it.
