Tone As Much About The Player As The Equipment. It Helps To Have Good Equipment BUt If You Are A Bad Player Not Even A 59' Les Paul And A 1964 JTM45 Will Make You Sound Good
You got what you pay for most of the time. It takes 800+ to get a decent guitar. Personally I have a Gibson LP Custom (it's my least played) I do like it... it has a really tight rhythm... But I have Taylor T5, Taylor SolidBody (I prefer to the Gibson, lighter, better neck, more tones more capible) but honestly - "tone wise" I enjoy my Fender Strats the most.
Yeah it definitely takes 800+ for a decent guitar that would be used for more than just a hobby. Ive got a fender tele and let me tell you i love that thing. Its got an out of phase button that gives it a strat sound and an almost humbucker sound.
wooow never heard such a gentle thrill like 2:54

i hate that arguement
tone is in the equipment not skill, jimmy page would sound like jimmy page thru an epiphone and a marshall mg, but his tone would suck balls

Yea i agree, well said! lol
Although a good guitarist can make shitty equipment sound much better that other people..

ya cheaply made amp
My favorite amp would be an orange tiny terror combo
its nice cause you can switch the wattage so you can practice at home and play gigs
not to mention the killer tone

save up around 300 buck and get on of the LTD 50 series. like the M, EC, EX, or F. Some of the best cheap guitars around and tons of mods for them
