Excellent! I just started, and my blender works, but becomes slow to respond after being running for more than a minute or two. What can I do to make it run like I see in the turorials? I have an e-machine (two years old) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz, Ram is 1.37. What do I need to change? Please HELP!!

Your computer is absolutely fine for Blender, that's not what could cause the slowing down after a couple of minutes. There must be something else going, though I have no idea what that could be. :(

It's very very very realistic!!! Good work! I've also done a wrok with Blender (if you want can see it here on youTube... it's called Toothpaste Show) but you, in only 22s. make a big difference from my modest animation!

when ever i try to do that, the top edges of the cube go through the cloth and is really twitchy. The cloth stays on the cube, but some of the cloth dissapears when it hits the top of the cube, and the corners and edges are exposed. Any idea on why that is happening?

with the cube selected, under deflection set damping to 1.000, inner to 0 and outer to 1.000. now im trying to figure out how to make it so that the edges of the cloth dont overlap and stick to the cube, but just gently fall on the cube.

I don't use blender, but there should be an option to add some dampening.

Try adding more vertices to the softbody. you'll get better "colision detection"

Wow blender is such an amazing software, I used it 5 years ago when a C-key was required to have the full feature.
