  • I'm quite honestly, sick and tired of hearing this piece on youtube (for some reason people think this piece would make them an instant virtuoso guitar player). However, it's fresh to my ears once again, thanks to you.

  • wonderful, impressionante!

  • magique!

  • The guitar is at the same time obscenely ugly and deeply fascinating. Kind of like a pungent cheese perhaps. Something you don't put every day on your fajitas, but definitely something that can be enjoyed occasionally with the right setting.

You have some excellent variations in your interpretation. I especially the intensity at around 4:50 (second time it shows up). Breathtaking.

I haven't finished learning the whole thing, so I just improvise and I like it.

PS. Get a better mike. :)

  • Everything about this recording is perfect. The slight distortion only enhances the simultaneous explosion of all my internal organs.

  • how many strings are there on this guitar? I saw quite a number of them

  • This is a triple-double-single string guitar.Three strings on the 6th and 5th, two strings on the 4th and 3d and one string on the 2nd and 1st strings.

    Cheers, Yorgos

  • That guitar has a very sweet crystaline sound. Is it tuned 5 halfsteps up? It sounds very much like a requinto though, truth to tell, I have never heard a requinto do that and I grew up listening to the best Trios of all like Los Tres Reyes, Los Panchos and others who had very accomplished lead requinteros. You are an excelent guitarist.

  • one day im going to make you a offer for this guitar that you cant refuse

  • Is this a guitar solo or do you have a violin backing you up? Your tremolo is just perfect, any tips?

  • It is a guitar solo with no backing up whatsoever, keep your fingers as close as possible to the strings, pluck the string with the weight of the fingers and use action-reaction in-between the movements, cheers, Yorgos

  • Thank you so much for the tip. It sounds as if you have an orchestra backing you up. Thanks once again for the invite.

  • very intersting, loved it!

  • Wow!!! So free and beautiful. I think the Greeks have so many unique contributions to make. And the guitar, so unique, yet so rooted in tradition at the same time. Together, it takes my breath away.

  • wow this sounds like a piano version 0.o

  • sounds like spanish caravan by the doors... and I thought it was an original (by the doors)!

  • NOOOOO!! The Doors took it from Albeniz!!

It's a nice song they made though!

    Cheers

  • beautiful ;)what is this guitar ?:S

  • WONDERFUL YORGOS!!!!

You have the soul for this music my friend.. you where made for this!!!! I also loved your flamenco arr. of this classic!!

    Never stop playing my friend!!!

    Santi
