why was she yelling? she sound as if she's passing a kidney stone. i love u patty but that was overly dramatized to the tee. i think Whitney sang the SSB better than anyone. she did it so effortlessly; smiling trough the whole song, and at a time when America needed a voice. nowadays u get lost in artist's OOO's n AAA's, no one care if u can stretch the last part into 7-highs n lows, stick to the message and let us the listeners bask in the lory of America.

oh that was soo rude miss Patti took her interpretation to a crowd of thousands and they cheered! I'm not American and have heard your national anthem sung many times, each singer has their own style, from great to ludicrous! I was at this match. Patti's voice was more than the sound system could handle, was happy to find this here but it's so distorted.  She had to sing over planes flying into JFK and she did it with no band. No one hits the "free" note like she can. Where's she been?
