Yes, the thing with Hayley is that she sings as a goddess with and without vibrato... and from 14 years of age!
Thank you Hayley for bringing me into the classical genre. was only listening to different kinds of Metal, Slipknot and stuff, before I heard her sing Wuthering Heights. Then everything changed, now, 1 month after I first heard her, Ive got all her records, and Im so glad for it! New doors have opened for me...
She has always had some vibrato but it's a little more apparent here as she matures and refines. I don't like too much, but her technique is just right.
What do you mean? Hayley has always had vibrato, just not as much as Opera singers do. I love the bit of vibrato she has, too much vibrato sounds weird to me. =P
popin is correct. She had traces of vibrato on the video "Hayley Westenra sings from NZ", or whatever it was called. So it was noticiable when she was 16-17. It was noticable on Odyssey. Watch the following clip if you want to see pronounced vibrato from her:

Only very young girls have no vibrato at all, or, at least, none that is noticable.
amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vibrato? Hayley's had the stuff since she put on her first training bra. You want more, just shake your head real hard while you listen!

well, she doesn't seem to need a training bra any more,. she's fully trained. hot and cool

Lovely song!!! Love this song and the way she backed up by the choir considering there's no music behind them!
Great job Hayley!
But where has this slight vibrato appeared from, she has never had one before!!
