Well, I could but it simple: The rule is 500$.
If you goes over, there is a penalty of 1 lap by 10$.
A BMW series 7 is what? The cheaper I fond was 5000$ with 119000 miles (pretty bad shape): That 45 laps down... With is not smart, at the start.

As I understand the to the rules as posted on the race website, the $500 is a spending limit not a value limit. Is this not correct?
By the way, congratulations to Black Iron Racing for their first place finish.

$500 is the spending limit. On the vehicle, not including safety systems. This means, the car must not exceed $500, but you can spend all the money you want to install a cage and brakes...
