@mw2rocks1234 My daughter got the shirt in Washington DC (not Moscow) at the Smithsonian Museum. Yes comrade ... the dictatorship of the proletariat may still come to pass. Well at least our shirts are for sale in the USA.
@lovecancer060988 I hate those sort of programs like Windows Messenger so I never use them. But I am SURE the camera works great with Windows Live Messenger because remember the camera is made by them PLUS there is a button on the camera and when you push the button Windows IM starts. I sometimes press the button and IM wants to start up. So I have not used with with IM but I am sure it works great with the program.
@alanpro18 Easy answer no.. Only one driver would work. It would say the camera was busy. There is some software you can get to get around it. But I think you are asking for problems. Just get a different brand camera for the second one. The other thing is the LifeCams sucks the life out of your CPU. If you tried to run to I think your computer would stop working. I wish Microsoft would fix it so you don't need so much CPU power to run the camera.
@hnbbs Sorry for the late reply. You were right about it being a CPU hog. Takes upto 3 gbs of memory with my 6 lifecams. In the end I purchased 6 of them and hooked them up via BlueIris. It's a professional webcam, ip cam survelliance software and it works quite nicely. Apart from a ram upgrade, everything's going smooth. :D
@Kg363 I had a Fort Worth police officer ask me where I got the shirt. My daughter got it in Washington DC at the Smithsonian gift shop. It might not be a good idea to have this shirt on and walking around Fort Worth Texas (Smile).
@Paddyo11 No it can not be taken off the stand. It can not be manually focused. Well I mean by hand turning of the lens. But you can go into the settings and make a lot of adjustments. I would say the lead is about 4 or 5 feet. I did not measure it.. Just a guess.
@pbsandcspanwatchit Well my blog is about my life and what interest me at the time.. Sometimes it is family matters or health...sorry to say recently it has been a lot about politics. The blog is showmeblog You can just do a search for that or for Howard's Notebook
I read them so I knew I was in line for problems. I love to try new hardware and software so this is not so much a grip as a warning to others. I knew what i was getting into with this camera. I just wish I had not given away my QuickCam Pro 9000.

Hey, would it be possible to purchase two lifecams, and view both of them at the same time with the Microsoft Lifecam software?

can the camera be detached from its stand and can it be manually focused as well? Also how long is the lead?
