Hello! I'm searching for people for my own online choir (: haha. Would you be interested in auditioning? I'll audition for yours if you ever need more people. I am 16 (:

Are you letting any more people into your choir? I would really like to be a part of it. ;; I missed the deadline because I've been away overseas for the past couple of months, therefore away from my computer and my recording things. ;;

Foo...I would have loved to do this. I need something choiry to keep me going...I just moved you see and I'm missing theatre and choir :( So yeah, could you maybe tell me how to do that harmony thing? Unless theirs no spots left. Do you need a soprano 1? I have a range up to c# on good days. Ok ill stop talking now >_>

I definitely can't have any more soprano 1s, we already have 4 of them, but we have three altos and soprano 2s. I'm not sure wheather I'm going to let more people in or not, but I might. you can audition if you want to, but only if you would be willing to sing something other than soprano 1.

oh...I can't sing sop 2, its in my fault range..and I'm definitely not an alto...so maybe lol

soprano 2 isn't that low, I had to sing it for choir and it was way too high for me lol (I'm such an alto :P)

haha well it depends on the song...I was a soprano 2 for a while at camp, then my voice changed. I sang sop 1 in Oklahoma!; if you've heard the title song you know thats quite high lol

but yay for altos! Apparently they are born with their range, and we're not -is jealous because of horrible tone on alto notes-

wow, that's amazing! lol I could never dream of going that high. I squeak lol :) The weirdest thing for me was that I didn't know I was an alto until 3 years ago. up until then, I always thought I was a soprano, until my choir teacher made me sing alto. Now I can't get enough of those low harmonies :P

I would like to audition ^^ Is it ok if I post my Finlandia video as a response? It doesn't have the actual range sung from bottom to top, but I sung all 4 harmonys (soprano, alto, tenor, bass). That is 2 octaves of my range from D3 to D5 (or d to d''). It's not all of my range, but I think it enough! :D If this is ok, can I PM you all the rest of the information you wanted on the description? :)

yes, that'll work. as well as the p.m.ing me the info. if possible, I would like you to record your range separately, but it doesn't have to be in the video, you can send it to me later :)

one question- in the group would the harmony parts have examples? I'm not very good at finding harmonies in songs, though I can find them with sheet music because I know how to sort of play the piano...

yes, we'll have sheet music with all or most of the songs. I hate finding harmonies on my own lol

what do you mean "sing your range on la"? oh and what if i have absolutely no clue what my range is?=D

don't worry, it's simple. start with the lowest note you can possibly sing and go up to the highest note that you can sing. as long as you sing that, I'll be able to tell what your range is.

check out the end of xcrazysingerx's audition, she has her range on there.

um i was thinking about doing the duet to the beginning of "Angel of Music" where it's Christine and her friends who's name i can't think of at the moment.=) but would it be better to do a song like "when you believe"? which one would be better for you do you think?

Such a fun idea! I can't wait to hear you all. In Elysium's defense, we have two teenagers, Ania and Samy. But I understand your point. I had to turn a lot of really really really good girls down because their voices were just a bit too young sounding for what I was looking for. You might check out Otacon7522, Miticafrag94, littlemeg1992, and cheerylorry. They are all younger and very talented. :) Good luck with everything. I am happy to offer advice.

lol I know, I love your group, you sound awesome :) I just want to try to let more younger voices have a chance that they wouldn't when auditioning for other groups.
