Parkour is getting from point A to B in the quickest manner possible (either for fun, escaping, or chasing). Personally, i just define parkour as the flow of motion, that's just me.
Freerunning on the other-hand is completely different. Freerunning consists on flipping, twisting, etc. Think of freerunning as freestyling, it's very similar to tricking, and it's just to look flashy while running. Many people get parkour and freerunning mixed up because many people use PK and FR at the same time~
