No, I don't think it would be repetitive, because I believe that every chapter in the game would be a chapter in the anime, so each case would take a couple of episodes to be solved. Because of that, it wouldn't be as repetitive as other mistery animes, like tantei gauken Q (or whatever the name is) or Meitantei Conan (Case Closed in the USA, I think..), where you don't have time to think and it becomes weird to watch them solve murder after murder.

LOL when I saw this episode I was thinking of Phoenix Wright because it was a murder case and Haruhi was saying all that Phoenix Wright stuff but then when I saw her making those things that locked just like the game...
