@MrJoekick4ss There are plenty of people on Killzone 2. The KZ3 community and KZ2 online communities are pretty varied. The game play for both is very similiar so most people play a game on their preference for the feel in the game. The more experienced players play KZ2 because of its more sluggish and hard to master feel and the newcomers play KZ3 because of it feels more COD like then any of its predecessors.
And when I refer to feel I am talking about the recoil, movement, physics, etc.

i still play this game online, and for a PS2 game it is pretty awesome. it came out 2004, now its 2011 and it is still kicking, most of the old school players are gone but from time to time u still have a full house, sometimes even 20-22 players r online. i did not know about this game until December 2010 :( so its only seven months now that i have been playing but i am loving it so far.
@TheTdo30 You have to play with the american version of PS2 killzone. The PAL versions have different servers. The NTSC or (american) servers are the ones Im playing in, so you have to get that version of the game and console to play. Is the region that seperates the servers. It sucks, wish it was one whole server or (Unviverse server).
I love how all of these old fps games don't let you recover your health automatically but you have to grab health packages. I like the new system better but it is funny that there barely is any ''new'' shooting game that has the old health system. Even games like Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed have the new system.

First you need a Network Access Disk, most netplay capable PS2 games seem to have that included on the game disc, but Killzone does not, so you'll need another net game to set that part up, then go to Sony's old CentralStation service (the predecessor to PlayStation Network), with an unintuitive address where you have to register your PS2 using the access code on the PS2 manual or on the bottom of your system.
@fisk0 its actually not complicated man. if you have a fat ps2 then yes, you need a network adaptar. However if you have a slim then all you need is an ethernet cord IF you have a game that has a network setting utility. Games like timesplitters 2 for example have that.
@dathip Yes, Timesplitters 2, Champions of Norrath and others have that - Killzone however does not, which is the thing that complicates matters if that's the only online capable game you have.
That Sony didn't install the network setup utility on the system ROM on the PS2 Slim is in itself an unnecessary complication.

@joshsellars Thats because there isnt any. The only way to actually use a knife is to play as Luger or Haka in Campaign mode. There is no knife, physical attack engagement, or jump ability in multiplayer (battlefied mode).
