Quel document merveilleux...Cependant vous etes sur que Pietragalla était Première Danseuse à cette époque? je pense qu'elle devait etre dans le corps de ballet, à vérifier.
Chauvire realy portrays such spirit and style of the old school to students - so important how she blends herself with what she teaches in the choreography!!! ;)
I don't see it. I think you should watch this "ballerina" Marie-Claude Pietragalla in Nijinsky's Le Sacre du Printemps (on my channel) at least. She was an etoile of the Paris Opera Ballet for many years. Yvette Chauvire' wouldn't have spent 5 minutes with her were she not gifted. Maybe it's too early to see it in this video? Pietragalla will be considered a Grande Dame one day.
oh don't get me wrong. I know very well who Marie is, and she is wonderful. it's just that in this particular session, Chauvire looks so on command of this role, and she is just barely dancing the piece with street clothes... of course, that's why she's the teacher here.
It seems to me that this kind of coaching is a huge gift to the younger dancer. This is what the love of ballet is all about, handing it onward to the next generation of dancers. I found this video to be spectacular.
Qu'est ce que c'est beau ! Je ne me lasse pas de regarder cet extrait du film et chaque fois je suis touchée profondément par la passion d'Yvette Chauvré pour la danse. Merci de l'avoir mis sur chaîne.
It's really cool to see this because we are dancing it at the end of the school-year ! I cant' wait ! And I really reconizie my ballet mistress in this woman : she is strong and beautiful but a real pain in the ass. But she's the best , you need that pain if you want to progress !! Anyway , does anyone know who did that music please ? Maybe you could tell me Graziana ? Kiss(K)iss and thank you for this wonderfull video =)
Oh, yes, how dare she pass on the fruits of her acclaimed, revered career and artistry to a younger dancer? Clearly, you have no understanding of the fundamental role and vital importance of coaching in the arts. Does Ms. Pietragalla look upset at receiving this coaching? She drinks it in like nectar--not hard since Ms. Chauviré is showering her with encouragement & approval: "Très bien," "Oui, parfait," etc. Pietragalla will shine with this polishing work, adding her own character as well!
I love the choreography. And after all those years, Madame Chauviré still knows how to 'tease' the audience with her charm, grace and smile

C'est vraiment merveilleux cette maniere d'enseigner! Toujours le narratif !
C'etait comme cela aussi avec les lecons de flute de Jean-Pierre Rampal et Alain Marion. J'adore la haute pedagogie Francaise!

Even if she is kind of old there is still so much passion in the teachers eyes!

I find her horrible. Especially in her fouettés. Horrible ballerina.

What fouettes? There were none in this clip!

what a pain in the ass the ballet mistress is. it is like she wants her to do it the way she did it. when does the own individual come in.
