I have the Doc Cook Columbia recording of this tune and this band does a very good job with the tune. The trombone part answered by the reeds then the chorus by the reeds was sharp, well played and authentic. Then the ensemble really starts swinging! Authenticity right down to the vocal break of "spanish mama, ooh la la la" which is on the original Doc Cook recording too.
