This video is awesome but as for the movie; you have to think of it from a kid's perspective. It's really cool for them because it DOES scare the bejesus out of them but they can still appreciate it because it isn't completely horrifying (at least on an adult level)

I think children can bare more horrifing things than any adult. Read fairy-tales for example. You know that at first Brothers Grimm tales were not intended for children;never mind it had been reading to them, untill the famous brothers found it out and promptly rewrote them...

In my opinion there was nothing so damage-scary in Coraline. The things kids watch on TV are far more terrible. I felt no atmosphere, that I enjoyed in book so much, in the cartoon...

interesting... I think i might be thinking more from my own perspective. When I was a kid, the world sometimes seemed twisted and hard to comprehend and now it seems mundane. For example, i remember this park where my mom would take me as a boy - the borders in the paths cut through grass were so tall and everything in the distance seemed far away and imaginary where now i can go there and see pretty much the whole expanse from the beginning... i dunno if that had anything to do with my point :)

I don't think so, was why I was suprised that I would have missed one *lol* is one of those albums that just gets more enjoyable with each listen as well. A good deal of the songs seem to be about Coraline or an aspect of it.

Me too, absolutely love Neverwhere, the original BBC TV show was what got me into Neil Gaiman's work. The Azam Ali track is fantastic, the work she did for 300 and in the band Vas is great too

I have neither read the book, nor seen "The Skeleton Key" or "Strange Little Girl", but when I do (and I'm intrigued enough after watching this video ^^), I'm sure in my mind those clips will be able associated only with "Coraline", and vice versa =) Judging by the short summary, you've done just a fabulous job, for the video footage depicts it precisely :))) And the major thing is affection with which this video was made, so 5* and indisputably faving :D
