We are going to shock alotta of people this year. They say our defense was bad but what they dont tell u is that the secondary was ranked 7th nationally. Full of freshman at that. Our recieving core might be the best in the nation. Our linebackers and frontline men will dominate along with more depth. The running game is solid as well as the q-back position. Randy phillips, moncur, and mCcarthy are back! To be honest I can really see us starting out 3-1 and maybe even 4-0.

I think it does. It shows young talent and the rebuilding of a program that went 7-6. That's pretty good since most of the freshmen started right out of highschool in key positions. Line, Linebackers, DB's, QB, WR. I am sure miami will be back quicker than people think. Most people just dont want them to come up again since they dont want to be on the loosing end.

Great job on this 31spoonerstreet. Great job. Even though Marve was a knucklehead, he still had some moments - even if they seemed few and far between at times. Some of that can be attributed to having an offensive eunuch of a mind in Pat Nix, calling the plays. Jacory with Whip is going to be much needed relief and excitement brought back to The "U" on the offensive side of the ball. Everyone still needs to remember though, it'll be the 1st year for Whip and Lovett - patience Canes, patience.

Boss Man Shannon is speaking straight from the heart, he's even said multiple times that it kills him even worse than anyone else when Miami doesn't win - he's a true born Cane, spent almost the entirety of his life with that program as a player, assistant, coordinator and now head coach. You can tell when he speaks at 4:17, he's starting to get pissed as he's speaking. Some coaches are yellers, some aren't. I've seen Boss Man yell on the sidelines during games, I've seen him talk as well.
