The reason is because the game itself is ILLEGAL because it was being sold and wasn't distributed around Copyright Act 1976, which is for Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use. which they clearly didn't follow since they were selling the game. Because the production is halt and it's not distributed anymore, the game is now an abandonware

@cccc010 Haha, well it IS Chinese. The game explains that Ed brought Al back. I don't remember how. (Sorry!) However, throughout the game Al is slowly 'fading away'. I guess that's the best way to describe it. The transmutation used to bring Al back was not perfect. That's why there are pictures of Al laying on the ground, looking depressed ect..

As far as I know this is from a Chinese FMA fangame called "Bluebird's Illusion". There're 4 different endings for this game. In the one known as "Pride!Ed ending", Ed commits suicide after the deaths of Roy and Al. However, Father decides that Ed is "too special to die" so he turns him into an homunculus, the Pride!Ed homunculus. Or so I heard XP

Um, I read the one where Ed turns into a homunculus, and the one where he lives and goes back to the miliatary, but Al dies. So, the other one (whatever it may be) is the one I don't know about. ^_^

There are 2 others, one where Ed sracrifices himself to bring back Al and he ends up in a veggitative state. The other one is a joke ending, Ed is renamed the Tea-Serving alchemist and serves tea to King Bradley.

3 game endings:

1.The Tea Alchemist.(This is where FKP Bradley re-names Ed as the Tea Serving Alchemist, and he is forced to serve tea to Bradley. A purly crack ending.)

2.The Roy Mustang.(Al dies and Ed and Roy just continue on in the military.)

3.The Veggie! Ed.(Al dies and Ed sacrifices himself to bring Al back, therefore ending up in a vegitative state.)

4.The Pride! Ed.(Al and Roy die, and Ed commits susicide. Father brings Ed back to life as the Homunculi 'Pride'.)

Ed is in a uniform because the creators of the game decided to make him 'officialy' in the military.
