  • Who did they get to sing this song?

  • I love Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me! I picked this one as the answer!

  • LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE

  • Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me! They find the best random stuff ever!

  • I guess they didn't get the memo that Tradition in Western culture dictates that a child who behaves badly during the year will receive only a piece of Filthy Coal in his or her Christmas Stocking!

  • clean coal, rofl !!!

  • Well this coal smoke is great, but I'm not to sure about this fan mounted next to my ass.

  • Thanks to Maddow for the find.

  • god, i love "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me"

  • I bet when Frosty the Snowman saw this, he gave up on life, put a hair dryer right up to his head, and pulled the trigger. :-)

  • looooooooooool!

  • even if you could store the pollutants we still have a problem with disposal. remember the Tennessee dike break and now lead and lot of other bad chemicals are in the drinking water. THERE IS NO CLEAN COAL THERE IS NO CLEAN COAL

  • 'clean coal' is the greatest scam. DON'T BELIEVE IT!!! It's the dirtiest form of energy second to nuclear

  • This is f**king scary,

Coal is abundant, but worth the environmental costs. Stimulating jobs to produce renewables for energy use drives the economy too!

  • I heard about this on "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me." I was sure this was one of their fake news stories.

  • Mr Hanky meets frosty the snowman... A perfect metaphor for the ridiculous and oxymoronic notion of "clean" coal.

Blasting the tops off of mountains can never be clean. Stripmining indigenous land can never be clean.

Burning coal will always equal apocalyptic climate change.

carbon sequestration is a scientific fantasy designed to enhance the profits of the corporations whose primary aim is to make the planet uninhabitable.

  • I don't disagree with what you're saying here, but all land is, by definition, "indigenous".

  • Why would you name a coalman "frosty"? :-)

  • I wonder how much the ACCCE "Clean Coal" folks spent on this little web video masterpiece. Obviously some coal boss's daughter or son in law needed a project to keep them busy at the office for a few months ... this film really makes you wonder if they think all Americans are complete idiots.

  • heehee I love Frosty the Coalman! ^.^

  • Haha, regardless of how I feel about clean coal, it is a rather catchy song.

  • :) I love it. Merry Christmas to all miners and coal operators!
