Just get out there and watch a little every day. The cygnets hatch about 35 days after the last egg has been laid. And the mother turns them every morning, so when she is off the nest turning them you can get good shots and count the eggs. There are probably 6 or 7.
yeah! i went outside today to look at the eggs theres like 3 or 4 and i saw the mother and father too the mother is a lot bigger lol but umm yeah the eggs are probably only like 2 weeks old

I've got a thing for cygnets, as a child I was impressed from Ugly Duckling's tale and I think that cygnets are the cutiests among Anseriformes babies.
