Hengehogs, regarding holding the torch in one place so the victim part bursts into flame..... That's the what it won't do..... by design.....no flame, no smoke, no drip.......

It's interesting that when deforming and melting, it is doing so layer by layer. I would be concerned that the parts fail in the same way from other forms of stress.

Also, I agree with the other commenters. It would be nice to see a companion video with the torch held steady.

I really good companion to this video would be to replicate this test with a typical #D printer material so that we can see the difference between Ultem 9085 and another material.

@hengehogs An even better companion to this video would be one where they actually hold the torch still for a moment so that the material has a chance to heat up and burst into flames.
