the first fire emblem ive played is PoR. ive loved FE ever since i got that! I now have FE Sacred stones and FE Radiant Dawn and eagerly awaiting this one

"Manakete" is an improper translation by Nintendo of America. A better translation would be "Mamkute".

this would be true for marth too. a better translation of his name would be marusu, or mars, but then no one would know what i was talking about. if FE :DS comes to america it's rather likely that the mamkute will be called manakete instead.
