Diana turned the Monarchy into a media circus. Prior to the DIana years there was a lot of respect and love for the Monarch and the royal family in the UK. The Queen did not need any Diana factor during the Silver Jubilee in 1977 when the nation showed their loyalty. By 1997, Diana and the Ferguson woman had destroyed decades of good work by both the Queen and her wonderful mother, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. I am sorry but I don't think the royal family can properly recover now.
