I'm sorry but Ritalin is still prescribed alot.. and 99% of people using it dont have all the bad side effetcs that youve just named... just like someone could be allergic to peanuts, some people dont react well to certain medicine. Also, when the dosage is not right, sides effects may occur .
My point:
When the diagnostic has not been given in a hurry, when to quantity of medicine to take has been properly found, when you keep on looking of diversity to help your problem... Ritalin is not bad
I have tried hundreds of different 'methods' to help myself when i didnt know i had ADHD... natural pills, eat more fish ( omega 3 ) eat healthier, try to write things right when i heard it to not forgvie... name them all!
But after i lost a huge job ( good money, great social advantage, etcetc...) got about 70 tickets for parking in the wrong place... ( 52$ each ) not paying or forget to pay my tax, loan and bills... having a hard time to task that requiered attention for long time..
I totally agree with this woman for the cancer part.. to be optimistic always helps to heal faster and take life in a new way...almsot like a rebirth...
BUT... the other part about ADHD/ADD... WTH??
First.. does she even know about this trouble?? She dont even discuss about it! I agree that ritalin has been prescribted way to many times with a too fast diagnostic because society wanted some children to be more calm... but the fact is that some children ( and adult!!!! ) really need it.
And i am one of these adults... I've lived with it for 26 years.. so YES children can grow up without medecine... But hey, i grew up... :

I agree that doctors over prescribe medicine to our children. Anti depressants and mood altering stimulants to children is criminal! We live in a Pharmaceutical society that is based on greed. Have you ever notice we don't come up with cures....... only medicine that we have to take for the rest of our lives? If adderal and ritalin work so exceptionally well, why are our tests scores still so low, and if anti-depressant working why is the highest suicide rate still among the teens to 25?
Hey i love ritalin,its bullsh thisvid,it depends f yur mood what you feel,i'm for a agelimit,like when 16,decide.. the kid will take the'drug'(it is not a drug for adhd but OKAY!)I don't like the talkingmouth of this person..blehh,and i have adhd i take meds for 6 years!it is really neccesary because if i dnt take i will go on harddrugs of worse!it helps me focus and no hard words like this b*tch.noone compare with jimcarey please what an annoying!!

Most people who love drugs are detached from their real feelings.
Please seek help connecting with the people in your life.
Your feelings are valuable, if you were in touch with them, you wouldn't need drugs (prescription or otherwise).
