  • John Mayer made love to that guitar

  • He has differents sounds in different song, but the solo sound from this one and from belief are his best! How does he get it!

  • @stonesmannetje you might have already but, if not checkout the trio stuff on where the light is. John at his best in my humble opinion.

  • @liberatedanimal Yes i already did and i agree, he's at his best on where the light is and especially the trio part: Best songs, best musicians! But his solo sound is in my opinion stll the best at this song and on believe (first solo from john). It's a very 'attacking' sound. While playing California dreaming (with the trio) he also has that solo sound. How the hall does he get it?:p

  • JOHN MAYER'S VOICE AT 4:25 - 4:32 IS AN ORGASM

  • what pedal es he using to get the organ sound in the guitar? its that the electro harmonix pog???()

  • 6:00; shades of SRV!

  • @muzzalhay ......"shades"

  • That B3!

  • At about 6:00, he enters another stratosphere! So beautiful to watch AND hear!

  • i like this music! - best wishes PAUL

  • miss JJ :(

  • @Stavsuddas ah yeh me too...dude has the soul

  • @EJ1202 specially in "Where the Light Is" (; that concert was too legit

  • @Stavsuddas He's no where near as good as his new drummer Keith Carlock.

  • he's on top of his game here vocally its great to see

  • The tone of his guitar is sick. It gives me goosebumps. Love it. His Jimi Hendrix Monterey Pop strat is my favorite guitar of his. The solo is amazing!

  • Pino is amazing, Sean is awesome.

But Dela.. man, he was just the perfect match for John, I learned and still learn so much from his live playing..

  • this is the best band he played with!! but steve and jj should swap sometimes!

  • powerful words, incredible tune.

  • It's awesome to listen to John Mayer three years back. Great talent only gets better and better.

  • @kittie5252 Yeh, I agree. It astounds me how good at guitar he is now...it's like he has no boundaries or realyl distincitve style anymore...but in a good way so he just does everything and anything he wants...which is amazing

  • @EJ1202 what is so cool is the more I watch and listen to JM's songs I start to recognize the different guitars that he uses. It's like watching an old friend play. weird?

  • 6:05

  • 6:07

  • incredible!

  • i can listen to this song everyday for the rest of my life

  • the best song

  • wow!!!!! *****

  • thank goodness he kept in contact with Dela. He's such a good bassist, it makes me sick. It took me some time to warm up to him because I'm used to Flea, bootsy, victor wooten, and these other all-star crazy bass players but he fits with John's sound so well it's insane. Listen to Any Given Thursday. That will explain everything.

  • I agree. He didn't actually write the bas for this song though, that was Charlie Hunter with the 8 stringed guitar: search "one song one day" into YouTube and it'll come up.

  • Love this song. I could listen to it for hours on end. He's cute to look at, he's got a brain, he can sing, and GODDAMN can he play that guitar!!! Go John :) Come to Edmonton again! Canada loves you!

  • one word:astonishing

  • omfg that last solo he kicks ass that is so incretable that he can do that on a guitar!

  • Just amazing...
