Can't believe pdaparts are getting away with their video for the same procedure! pdaparts procedure is wrong (bet ppl who follow their procedure break their iphone), they've missed the camera bit unlike this one which is perfect!

i am thinking about replacing my 3gs battery as it just died today and will not recharge.

but i'm worried about losing all my data.

does anyone know if i remove the battery and replace it, will all my music, photos, settings and apps still be there when i re-assemble and turn it on?

please respond asap as i am about to order the battery

@KrAUSerMike Have you never heard of backing-up your phone to iTunes? That's all you have to do before replacing the battery, and then sync it once you are done.

After the battery replacement, my iPhone doesn't stay on any longer, it keeps restarting every 7 minutes!!!
