  • ok, this is something I alway wanted to be able to do but can never pull it off....in fact I'm far from doing it. Is there a trick you can recommend? And which part of the body requires the most strength to be able to do it (would that be the arms or something else?)

  • i would ask the same thing.i'm thinking that you use your arm muscles to hold onto the pole and your torso and leg muscles to hold the rest up.i've tried and failed.

  • @srfrider77 if youre 6'5 then you have longer arms. therefor you have more leverage. The only way its harder for any one person more than another is if you have substantially heavier legs. If this dude thinks that at 195 its harder than at 110 then hes saying its just as easy for the lighter dude to bench and squat the same weight as him too.
