When you get "older" in years, how do you find wrestling partners like these guys who are still able to wrestle? I would like to get involved with amateur style wrestling but cannot find anyone for practice.

if you live in the u.s. it will be very hard to find a place, but i think there are some camps in the midwest like iowa, and neberaska, my advise is you should move to iran, the birth of wrestling and the best country for wrestlers

Iran is not in the top 3, by any measure.

How do I arrive at this conclusion? Simple, by reviewing the medal count charts for olympic medals. Here, USSR has won the most, followed by USA, and then it's Finland,Sweden,Bulgaria,Turkey­. (note: ranking Russia and other republics is difficult, because breakup of USSR)

Iran has won only 31 medals (5 gold) This is even below ROMANIA (of all places!)

@762full I will however revise my earlier comment, though Russia has won more medals than any other country, it is important to note that most of the wrestlers on the Russian team are not ethnic russians or slavs, insteasd they are mostly Chechens, Ossetians, Georgians, etc.

So although the country may be the best wrestling country, I believe the people of the Caucasus, (who are on both Russian and Iranian teams) are truly the best in the world.
