  • wow, what a watse, to go all that way and nto order a coffie becuase they did not have soymilk...dude your on gaum you should have ordered the coconut milk anyhow...

  • It would've been easier to ask someone from Guam.

  • @JesusChrist391 hahahaha deal with it pal! you will encounter more of us. and the island is dirty!

  • @JesusChrist391 got something wrong

    with Guam, huh?!

  • its not Tumoan its Tumon as in "toomun".. gosh i havent seen all them stores in over 10 yrs, everythings changed.

  • guam has starbucks now? damn they movin on up aint they

  • hahaha bro its so funny how back home

    they have commercials of sonic

    and chucky cheese and everything

but there isnt any for you guys there.

    ai adai guam :)

    i miss it !

  • Soy milk? I LOL'd.

  • Estague gi Guahan. Gof-gatbo i tano' guahan. Malago' yu manbibisita guato.

  • What's with all the angry comments? After reading soo many negative responses to a little video of a guy trying to find something of familiarity, to him, I'm ashamed to say that I'm from Guam.

Angry locals are probably why so many haoles think Guam sucks. Try being a nice for a change. If it weren't for tourism, Guam's economy would suck even more than it already does.

  • Angry comments, from put brethren? No everyone I know of all kinds of other races always have something good to say about us chamorros. Pretty stupid for us not to have anything nice to say back. I agree with you.

  • okay, first of all tumon is pronounced too-mon

as in mon is like the word on, and the weston only sells starbucks coffee, it's not starbucks.

  • funny..but there is a starbucks now in the Sheraton Hote....but i wouldn't know if they had a soy milk....

  • tscheck out my kings adventure...

  • haha. sorry for your misadventure on the island.

hope you had a fun time on guam anyway though.

    fun video.

  • whoa... 1 starbucks

  • Of course he laughed at you, because you're a total moron. Who the hell cares if there is starbucks in Guam? you're on a fucking tropical island, drink coconut milk. Or just go home. This video shows everything that is so so wrong with Americans who travel to some exotic place and then want the same junk-filled CRAP they get at home. STAY HOME

  • Oh and to the guy filming this video...Waikiki was like ABC hell...seriously there was just too much of it. My friend and I walked around looking for ONE(1) Jamba Juice, and we counted 14 different ABC stores just to get to ONE(1) Jamba Juice. It's crazy how many ABC stores are on one block.

  • Seriously people, grow up. The video was actually funny with his sarcasm. I just came back from working on the cruise ship in Hawaii, and you'd be amazed at how much people dont know about Guam. Give them a break. They'd probably look at you weird if you were to go to a KFC in the mainland and order a side of red rice...FYI they never heard of it. And besides...Starbucks is the shit, as well as Jamba Juice.

  • hahaha the first year i moved out to vegas

    i asked for red rice.

the guy just looked at me like

    wtf ?!

  • woot, you're on hotel drive! to tourists, it's known as "pleasure island." the slingshot is NUTS! lol

i like how you say "there's only one starbucks on the whole island of Guam" like it's really big..heehee. and at Underwater World, the japanese voice over is explaining the things inside the aquarium. i heard gameworks closed down :( and yeah....hellllla strip clubs. the other half of the whale in that building is in Sam Choy's restaurant. decent food. I LOVE GUAM!

  • Hehe, yeah, I live on Guam, and I NEED my Starbucks.....even thoug hthere is only one place that sells it. Still, funny stuff:

    "Tumon bay Boulevard" ROFL.

You should have at least checked out the Fokai Shop! maybe I would have been chilling on the couch, and would see you walk by.

  • as for a cliff to jump off of i would highly suggest two lovers point, i mean its been tested before and it has a 100% chance of a horrible suicide especially for star crossed lovers, and also maybe you shouldnt decide to go to any destination in the pacific during the wet season which is from june to december.

  • I did this same search in May 07 when I first got to Guam. I found the same place and they didn't have soy milk then. The next time you come to Guam, check out the coffee shop at the entrance to the Guam Premium Outlet Mall (GP0). They will charge you an extra 50 cents, but at least they have it. GPO is South of the hotel row you are on, almost to Marine Drive. I've seen taxies that advertise free fares to GPO.

  • Soy milk is great, especially if ur lactose intollerant. I dont blame you for walking out w/ no coffee. The shot from The Westin was btfl!

  • it's GUAM!

  • Ok .. ur dumb !

    itz guam !

kinda wrong, no itz wrong dissing guam .. itz beautiful, but u juss don't kno it !

    try next time ...

  • Your comment makes no sense. You should check yourself before you start calling someone dumb.

  • nvm .. don't get wat i'm saying .. ai adai !

  • hey haole how's about you go find one of your boyfriends and tell them to make you a starbucks. you people have no business in guam. so pack all your bags and get out before all the SNAKESSSSSSSSSSS get you. dumbass

  • this guy is dumb !

    such a cali boy !

    he should leave !

  • I don't know why almost everybody has bad words about the video. Well, I can't say anything about Guam, because I don't know that place, but about the video, I can say that I liked. The places are beautiful.

  • It's because a lot of people are being ignorant and they think he's trying to disrespect Guam just because he's a white guy making a video about him trying to find a Starbucks. So they're pretty much being racist.

  • yeah i'd laugh at you too you little queer

  • guam is REALLY a beautiful place, its just sad that you didnt to experience it. and obviously it's be hot.. it is an island... oh and the comments about snakes, thats so stereo type... you must have no life.... you shouldnt judge a place you dont even know... how lame of you to even post this video...

  • guam is REALLY a beautiful place, its just sad that you didnt get to experience it... and obviously it'd be hot.. it is an island.. and this is so lame for you to even post!!

  • I don't think Guam gets 95 degrees heat. Must have been the humidity. Makes it feel warmer if you're not used to it.

  • um.. you obviously never been to guam it definitely gets 95 degrees if not more.

  • ok i am glad you found a starbucks but plz go jumb off a fucking cliff and dont come back to our lovely island of guam!your not welcome here!I am so sick of you fucking white people visiting our island and making it look so dirty!so plz if you dont want to die just dont come back and if you cant say the names of the streets stay in your hotel room and or go home fucker!and we are glad we dont have soy milk because soy milk is for fags like your gay ass!adios son!

  • How do white people "make" Guam look dirty? He did nothing to make Guam look any dirtier than you claim it is, so if you think it was dirty it was obviously dirty to begin with. Also, "soy milk is for fags like your gay ass"? You are so mature.

  • hafa adai, nutz0098. Thanks for sharing this! Sorry you didn't get your coffee. Tumon Bay is as I remembered it back in the late 70's. If you're still there, I was hoping you can take more vids around the island. Like a walkthrough through Umatac, Inarajan, Merizo, Barrigada Heights, Dededo, or my former town, Tamuning. Much appreciated man, and hafa adai!

  • Oh yeah, I live on Guam and thought this was a pretty entertaining video.

    "Tumon Bay Boulevard"

    That was funny.

  • Narruhn, how is he disrespecting Guam?

Stop embarrassing yourself because you're just coming off as ignorant.

  • Two Lover's Point is just around the corner ... that's if you can make it up the hill just below Tarza! Ha-ha-ha!

  • There's lots of cliffs there. Take your pick!

  • LOL what a cute adventure. Man your vid stirred up many memories ~ I grew up there. *sob* I remember when there used to be a Gameworks in that empty space next to Underwater world. ahhh, bittersweet nostalgia.

  • Oh and BTW, there is a new Hotel that serves Starbucks coffee (although not a Starbucks)Its The Sheraton and ZOMG they have SOY!!!

  • wow...ok first of all you don't sound 27? is it? An ya technically, and this is the official position of Starbucks, is that a corporation that has at least 5years experience, and have a startup capital of $1,000,000... =( this was my turn down letter from them

  • dude you don't freakin belong on guam.... i hate your video

  • yo.. it's cool that you're looking for starbucks, cause i know we all need our starbucks, but you should have just went to jungle java instead...

  • hey Billy jesus wasn't the the sign you were close to your Starbucks he was saying go have a Drink at the bar, thats what I think anyway that Jesus guy he's a party kinda guy ROCK ON JESUS WOOOOOO!!!!

  • "Tumon Boulevard", huh?

    This video was super-entertaining.

I live on Guam, and I go jogging up that hill almost every day. If you think THAT hill is tough, you should see the ones down South.

    Anyway, great vid, dude.

  • It's in the Westin Resort and is a "we proudly brew Starbucks," not an actual cafe.

  • I heard they don't have a Starbuck's in Guam,because the population base is too small :-(

  • At least not yet. If they could bring a Starbucks here, the other coffee shops would probably go out of business due to popularity of Starbucks, and then Starbucks wouldnt have to worry about going out of business. Then the people who are so ignorant with their comments would see why this gentleman is in desprate need of Starbucks.

  • true that! get off our island foo'!

  • There was a B movie filmed on Guam with Carmen Electra that never made it to the theatres, but it's available in DVD. "Max Havoc: Curse of the Dragon". I was there when they were filming it and got to see some scenes that was done at the Outrigger hotel area. I heard it really shows the beauty of the island, so check it out! I know I will.

Instead of looking for Starbucks, just go buy a coke. They'll ask you what kind.

narruhn's comment just made me laugh. *sigh* (part 4/last)

  • Anyhow, thanks for sharing the video. You showed what I believe they call "Pleasure Island" or is it "Paradise Island". The "hotel row" in Tumon which is like a mini Waikiki. The ritzy part along side the seedy part. You get "special" massages in the seedy part. They luv u longk time.

    (part 3)

  • SB Philippines had the green tea frappucino years before they had it here in California, and actually tastes MUCH better in the Philippines. BUT, they don't have "ice green tea (w/ 6 pumps classic)". They don't use the sizes "tall, grande, venti". (part 2)

  • There's no actual Starbucks storefront on the island. The Westin has been "allowed" to sell the Starbucks brand of coffees. The nearest Starbucks is probably the one in Manila/Makati. They have several NICE SB shops over there, one of the "in" places to be seen. I don't know why. They also have Seattle's Best Coffee (actually owned by Starbucks) and other "branded" coffee shops. (part 1)

  • fuck you bitch don't ever disrespect my island

  • You ASS, I LOVE Guam. No one is disrespecting it. I was looking for a Starbucks. Get your head out of your ass you loser!

  • starbucks sucks. it's overrated.

  • Yea... probably. It gave me something to do, I guess. :-p

  • True. There is only so much to do on an island that's about 30+ miles in length.

  • OK first I hope that the snake bit you and don't worry lizards will only go in your ear

  • I've never heard of a Starbucks on Guam...

  • will you marry me. seriously, where do you live. do you like cats?

  • Haha. I love cats. :-)

  • we do have a starbucks but its not in Tumon. someone gave you the wrong information, buddy. sorry.

  • I went ALL over the island in search of a Starbucks and even called the 800 number. They told me there was one and it was in Tumon. next time I am there, I will look harder. :-)

  • haha, well there is no starbucks there :) haha, can you imagine me living there for a year without starbucks? oh well.. hmm, they actually serve Starbucks Coffee though and like a couple of deserts pretending to be starbucks at the Westin, its nice though coz it's facing the Sunset :)

  • i dont know if theres a starbucks but i can ask my grandpa. he lives there and aperently hes really well known on the island so ill have to ask. if i go visit and theres no starbucks ill be super bummed!

  • I thought this was funny! You should have gone to the Coffee Beanery there...perhaps they would have soy milk, but I'm not sure...not too many folks on Guam drink soy milk...our Foremost milk there sucks!

  • lol. theres only 1 starbucks on guam. its at westin. i used to work there hahaha

  • of course theres a starbucks on guam!! lol its at westin resort

  • dude, there's no starbucks on guam

  • haha, this is so funny.

i didnt know there was a starbucks on Guam!

you make it seem like a 3409582304 day journey.

    cool!

  • It felt like a 3409582304 day journey! When I got back home to Chicago I had so much starbucks to make up for there only being one starbucks on guam. :-p

    Thanks for the comment!

  • Is that place still serving Starbucks?! I thought they closed down - I've been shpping the stuff to relatives on the island! LOL!

  • They are but NO SOY MILK! You should have your relatives go in and tell them to carry soy milk and then it will be a REAL starbucks... haha. :-) Thanks for the comment

  • we have a starbucks? lolololol
