@SimpleFixItTechGuru IIRC there is still the old (still free) Gmod... 9.0.4 I think... I forgot the version number, but it can still be played legally. Unfortunately, it requires HL2, HL2DM, and CS:S, and the stuff made for Gmod 10 will not work at all.

You would be better off getting Gmod on Steam. It really is worth it, though.
