the term i love you is catch phrase in the history of bollywood. it like other english words like calling a film in india " a picture" in colliquil language. or calling a school cafetaria as a canteen.
hindi translation would be mei(n) pyara karta tumse. its kinda long so i love u is easy to say.
Irfan khan is no doubt one of the best actors in indian film industry but he will never be as famous as Mr SRK abecause we Indians appreciate "reel life hero" more than actors. The way Irfan acts is effortless, it's so natural and flawless unlike Mr SRK - the over-actor . Just my $.02.
