now if only they made an item in a game that would offer you the chance to choose which mousic from any game in any format to listen too. another idea is for you to not have to select the gb player whenever you enter a new area.

:D How convenient of Nintendo to put an item that allows the game to change the soundtrack to its original 8-bit Game Boy tracks! I also noticed that the Game Boy Player also has 8-bit remixes of songs that weren't in the original game such as the PokeMart Theme.

Also, does this work on attack sounds? I miss the classic hyper beam noise. It let your opponent know just how fucked they were. The new sound just isn't the same.

It's not perfect though (Noticeably in wild Pokemon fight where the main beat overpowers the bass line and Pokemon League where it skips like a scratched CD.)

Route 43 is indeed beautifull. They used it in Stadium 2 on the demo battles on the title screen.

The game designers are like, "Well, we'll let you go through the ENTIRE game and listen to our awesome remixes, THEN we'll let you listen to the old stuff." ._.

The remixes are cool, but I'd rather listen to some of the old themes on my journey too. The radio theme that played in the Unknown's territory was my favorite. The old version.
