Now, a lot of religious people probably found this, but decided to keep off the comments due to the high proportion of athiests and a desire to not get flamed. However, what makes me laugh is that a decent amount probably got here from one of his other routines in which they were laughing their asses off.
He is so good at pointing out the irrationality in religion. I love how he paints this clear picture. "Not us though, we were born in the right country!" It's funny, because it's true. Religion can easily be mapped out.

@KeepEuropeWhite 50% of Americans may believe in evolution, but to be fair, less than 50% of this stupid country even knows shit about evolution in the first fucking place.
This guy wins at life. He makes sure the audience laughs at horrific jokes just so he can later prove to them they're hypocrites. Amazing. I think Jim Jefferies is now in my top 5 favorite comedians.

You must have gone and lived in a town full of fucking retards, or you were put in a room with walls made of pillows. The places I have lived in though, and visited, and know people from, are full of decent people. Half don't give a shit about god, the other half do but are still awesome people that say their religious cuz their parents were. Then there are the 20 people that noone talks to, who are cunts.

@anchorbuildings he can lecture, its his show and you not finding it funny is kinda, just your opinion man (and i would hazard... is it a bias one. offended? christian?).
@demondim5 I am a christian but i consider myself an atheist. I guess i'm tired of this whole god/atheist debate. it's so played out. I liked his earlier stuff - that one about the anal beads stuck in his arse schtick was truly great. I could care less about god and atheists. i also get the feeling that mr. jefferies doesn't really like himself very much which kinda leaves a bitter taste in the mouth - his show is based on a sort of self-loathing that i don't admire very much.
@anchorbuildings fair enough, hes stated in other shows that he hates life. i guess what he does (the "i hate life" thing) just isnt for everyone (which is understandable)
@blueballsredhair he is slightly amusing but it's often a sign of a weak routine when you see a comedian shouting. i don't feel this is his strongest stuff. i grew up in a religious country and i'm sooooo tired of religious debate.
To be honest, I think his appeal is based more around the styling of the words rather than the intrinsic appeal of the argument. He's undoubtedly intelligent and a shrewd judge of the Zeitgeist but that's not enough to be a truly great comic.
I'm unable to agree with you because I feel that his volume and intonation have been well-practised in order to provoke a response. His material is funnny. The fact that he sometimes shouts is by design and I respect him for that.
