But there has to be more than talk. It has been a long time since Suu Kyi was put under arrest and longer still that the Military overthrew the elected parliamentary government in1962 while ordinary Burmese people have been continuously oppressed and denied their fundemental rights since then.

The west has plenty of money & guns for illegal & meaningless wars fighting an invisable threat, yet not one gun can be spared for Burma. The junta knows that they are the thieves and thugs, and if she really speaks before the people, millions of people will follow her.
