Apple devices are locked proprietary bricks, just take ipods as an example, you can't use them neither on Windows nor on GNU/Linux without iTunes, and for the record there's no iTunes for GNU/Linux.. that means no freedom outside of the Apple closed cage..

The difference with the iphone 4 and the ipod 4g is that the ipod 4g doesnt give trouble like the iphone 4. I know a few people who had problems with the iphone. I had an iphone 3gs and it gave nothing but trouble and my sister has an iphone 4 and it is giving trouble. The ipod is the best thing since sliced bread..... :) Thats my opinion, if u have an iphone 4, sorry if offended,
