saw them at the pyramids centre in 199? - great gig. Met them afterwards; asked for their guitars got bass plectrum and a signed set list. Oh well.

@investmentandrisk : I saw them too, lost my 'converse all-stars' in the mosh and had to make my way home hitching to North London. I think you did better than me. Great(est?) band though.

The day I read they split up was while brousing through mags in Tower records, it came as such a shock, i actually started crying.
when I was at my very, very lowest I had Giant Steps. It kept me sane, and nothing has ever come close the feelings I have for that band.
Sadly missed and underrated.
