stayed up late last night trying to get the lyrics for this song, got them eventually, dan is so talented,i loved ur slide show,i am new to this but ur r 1 person i shall look out for, thanks for sharing, cant put into words how the movie and this song especially touched me.
Does anyone know the song Gerard Butler sang with line "her hair was black and her eyes were blue?" PLEASE who sang original and whats it called? I loved the film and the book!
I've not seen this movie but this song by Dan Fogelberg has been a major part of my life. When my daughter was a little girl I used to sing her to sleep with it. What a beautiful soul Dan was(is).
This is a movie that will leave you stunned and stupefied from beginning to end, if you don't head for the exits first. The only good things in it are Lisa Kudrow and Swank's wardrobe. The plot is unbelievable, although a competent script could have fixed that. The direction is flabby and uninspired, the casting is wrongheaded, and the performances run the gamut from uninteresting to insufferable. go as if youd had a lobotomy , and youll enjoy.
I actually hated Kudrow in it. Thought she was awful. I don't think the direction or script is particularly good, but it has some reddemable qualities. But Kudrow as the best thing? Not a chance.
To vintage garden. The song isn't in the film.
I just chose it for the video. I actually hate the music in the film. LOL!
dont agree with you on any of the points, for that movie not to touch you in some way astonishes me.................but then each to their on.............
My sentiments exactly. You know, but he let us know who he was with his music. Such a genious, such an amazing talent. I still haven't stopped having a cry each time I hear his music.
The movie is sad,the scenary in Ireland is beautiful, but if you ever loved someone it will remind us all of what life is all about;nothing should be taken for granted,Hilary Swank is just adorable
omg... i've read the book.. it's sooooo sad.. i couldn't stop crying!Unfortunately i missed the movie :s ii hope someone could upload it on youtube... I'm dying to watch it!
Fogelberg (and Croce) was who inspired me to become a songwriter. I've written some songs I am proud of (check my site) but I guess, in a way I have always chased a lyric as great as "Dew on the grass like, the tears the night wept..." Simply a GREAT LYRIC!
...but to be found again within the coming wave and new footsteps impressing the sand...

So many tears...I'm so sad to see that they are finally using a Dan Fogelberg song in a movie. What took so long?!
Now the world will hear what we've all lost...

WTF! he looks hideous! How can such a beautiful man suddenly look like that? What did they do with his hair and his face?
I still love him, but you have to admit guys, this is not one of his best looks.
