Modern defence systems can shoot down ICBMs carrying nuclear warheads before they even reach the continent. Anti-ballistic defences have made nuclear weapons all but obsolete in home country strikes. Prior to watching the clip, "rogue" to me implied a lot of negative connotations. But when you go back to the dictionary definition of the word, those negative connotations come from "somewhere else".

Modern defence systems can shoot down ICBMs carrying nuclear warheads before they even reach the continent. Anti-ballistic defences have made nuclear weapons all but obsolete in home country strikes. They are now primarily stored for frontline attacks, where anti-ballistic defences are not emplaced.

@berenjervin On the contrary, we should judge Islam by the character of Muslims. For example Surah 4:34 tells muslims it is permissible to beat one's wife, this wouldn't matter if not for the fact that domestic violence is pervasive and endemic in Muslim countries. Large popular movements such as a Islam are products of the character and actions of their followers, and should judged accordingly.

I think you are right, but are also talking about something slightly different than I was.
There is a cause/effect here.
Is it the character of muslims that make islam bad? This is true, but only at the large scale level, not at the "individual muslim" level. I think trying to declare muslims as either moderate or radical is an oversimplification.
Or is it the character of islam that makes muslims bad? This is also true, at both the individual as well as large scale level.

My only objection to this is that really doesnt provide a way to measure anything. For example, which muslims should be used to judge islam? There is such a large difference between "the worst" and "the best", that you can conclude anything you want.
But if you really mean looking at the large scale demographics, then I think I would agree completely.

I don't know whether his ideas are right or not, but yours is certainly wrong. Israel doesn't receive any HUMANITARIAN aid. Ironically, it is Israel which sends humanitarian aid to the needed around the world. For example Israel has sent humanitarian aid to your own country, the United States, after the Katrina disaster. Now speaking of aid, Israel only receives MILITARY budget which can be used only for the purchase of military hardware. Not quite the same thing, is it? Fool.

While the secular jews are declining as a percentage of the population. Since Isreal is a democracy, netanhayu has to answer to his party. That is why the settlements won't stop.

@MilitantPeaceist Actually what is happening in isreal reflects what is going on in the world. The religious may it be christian, muslim or jewish have more kids then their secular counterparts. In the U.S the place with the highest population growth is the bibble belt, and in Utah cause of the mormons. The scientist had more facts, but the creationists had more kids =/. This perharps is the crisis of liberal secularism. Perharps i should create a grand army of clones for the republic. haha

Europeans invaded Australia taking lands from the native peoples. The invaders are scared stiff that their day has come. They do not constitute the world. Israel is a sovereign nation, and Jews should be free to live anywhere. G-ds wrath is being poured out on Australia, perhaps there is a connection between this and those who deny His people their rights.
