With the lotus you're just paying for a brand name. The Opel speedster or Vauxhall Vx220 are both awesome cars, just as fast, they look nearly the same, yet they both are thousands cheaper than an elise. Thats good value right there.

Had mine a turbo over 3 years, and it's still worth the same money now!, it's the Na vx220's that loose value not the turbo....

@TheSector51 boxsters sucks anyways so i rather have a toyota or a 911 at least.anyways boxsters 2nd has almost the same price as toyota

Lol how's it a wannabe lotus? It's faster looks better and handles better , and cheaper to run . It's made in the same factory as lotus by the same people , with the same materials? , I own one , and wouldn't drive anything else .... Fantastic car.... People who say wannabe lotus have never driven a vx, as it puts a smile on my face every day!! :-)

@MrJonnyboy73 but depreciates like a nova...all good so long as you don't sell the VX Vauxhall, however the Lotus seems to hold their value pretty well, and even increasing in value. I'd like a VX as a 2nd car

One of the most underrated cars. This one has abotut 260 hp. So check the prices for the speedster and the Lotus Elise....

Very nice handling. On stock wheels it´s slightly understeering when the speed gets close to the limit in the bends. No surprises and easy to tackle. It works excellent in day to day driving on normal roads wet as well as dry. Just go ahead and buy one! Good luck!
