I believe that every country knew what was going on, and didnt care one bit. America actually lowered their standard amount of jewish immigrants during the war. So instead of allowing 75k a year in they only allowed 30k during those years, and FDR actually signed a law making it difficult for those 30k to gain citizenship, Britain, france etc turned away jews. FDR became president may 1933. hitler gained power in germany may 1933. That same year FDR made it harder for jews in usa.

@MuscleManDaniel happen. You've just said it doesn't add up yet there is countless evidence that the Holocaust did happen. There's survivors, there's video footage and you can go to Auschwitz today and see for yourself etc. Maybe do a little reading of history and you'll see everything adds up.

@ravia1988 - No, there were never any accounts of Jews being gassed and I was there for 9 months. These stories came out in the media and gas chambers was not popular lie in 1945. It was steam chambers. Then electrocution chambers. Then burning ditches. All lies. Germans treated all prisoners equally.

Most of the cooks inthe 12 kitchens were Ukrainians, but they were not prisoners, just workers. 99% of the stories you hear or read or see on TV about cruel Germans is pure hollywood lies. The Germans were mostly just fair people. Hitler just sought to protect Germany from the Jews who sought to create a revolution. He is misunderstood. He was a poor military strategist, and lost the war.

@MuscleManDaniel Who told you that the Germans are against talking about the Holocaust? Yes in the years directly after the war many people in Europe didn't want to talk about it because it was a dark period in history and perhaps people were ashamed that their society could sink so low.
These days though people in Europe talk about it. There are many Holocaust museums around. Have you heard of Anne Frank before? She was a teenager during the Holocaust and she had a diary.

@MuscleManDaniel She wrote in the diary when her family was hiding from the NAZIS in Amsterdam. Today the place where her family hid is now a museum dedicated to her memory. If people didn't want to talk about it these things wouldn't be around.
Germany is actually one of the most supportive countries towards Israel at the UN as a result of what happened in the Holocaust.

What do you mean there's no accounts of Jews being gassed. There are pictures of the gas chambers in Auschwitz and what they looked like. If you're truly a Holocaust survivor you'd know that.

Without giving away too much of the plot to come, this scene suggests that even some of the most notorious Nazi war criminals were not born that way. They had a few ounces of viable human conscience before the system corrupted them thoroughly. Don't know the piano piece. Beethoven, maybe?
